Moving Tip for Our Military Families: Renting? Decide if You Want to Take on Landscaping

If you are in the market for a new place to live and are planning to rent, think about whether or not you want to keep up with landscaping.  If you are looking to rent a home or town home, you should ask your potential landlord what are their expectations.  If you like to keep up on a garden and have the tools available to do it, chat with your potential landlord to see if you can get a break on your rent because you will help with the outside maintenance.  If you do not have a green thumb, definitely be honest with yourself and don’t take more on than you can handle.  Don’t feel bad, I struggle to keep cacti alive.  My husband is the gardner in the family.
