MovinGal Apologizes

We here at MovinGal strive to do our best.  However, sometimes we fall short and this is what happened in this case.  A while a go, we ran a ‘worst moving’ contest and thought we had not received enough entrants for the contest.  Unfortunately, due to a technical difficulty, we had no record of the submissions until now.  First, we want to extend an enormous apology to all of those who entered and have contacted each one of them individually.  To make this right, we are relaunching the contest on the blog and Facebook page for those who entered.  We are asking you all to vote for the worst moving experience over the next two weeks on Facebook and the winner will win an iPad.

Again, we want to thank you for your patience and understanding.

Terms & Conditions

By entering the MovinGal Blog Contest, participants have agreed to all of the following terms and conditions:
1.     Any person who submitted an entry must be a current subscriber to the MovinGal Blog and ‘like us’ on Facebook, and any winner of the blog contest must be a current subscriber;
2.     By submitting an entry, participants are giving MovinGal the right to publish their story, and are waiving any copyright or literary rights to their written submission;
3.     Participants hereby forever release and waive any and all claims of any type for liability against MovinGal arising in any way from this contest.
4.     The First Place winner will receive an IPad.  The winner will be required to provide contact information after the contest has concluded and the winner announced.  Any contact information provided will be used solely for the purpose of providing prizes to the winners.
5.     The winner will be chosen by the most votes on Facebook over a two week period beginning July 10, 2012 and ending July 24, 2012.
6.     The stories submitted must be personal and real (i.e. not fiction).
7.     The stories submitted must be about the worst moving experience the participant has ever had.
8.     Stories will not be judged based on length, but stories should be no more than 500 words.
